Avv. Irene Iannelli
Born in Bari on 24th of May, 1996, she graduated in Law at the University of Trento on July 24, 2019 with honors with a thesis in Biodiritto entitled "Gli organidi, una nuova frontiera per la ricerca biomedica" (supervisor Professor Carlo Casonato).
During her studies, between September 2017 and April 2019, she collaborated in the editing and updating of the website www.biodiritto.org of the Progetto Biodiritto of the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, creating some sheets about the main topics of the website.
Since September 2019, she is a trainee lawyer at canestriniLex | avvocati law firm. She deals mainly with criminal law (crimes against the person, crimes against property, drug offences ...), with interest also for transnational criminal law (extradition and european arrest warrant).
In December 2019 she attended the 20th edition of the Corso di specializzazione sulla Tutela Europea dei Diritti Umani organized by the Unione Forense per la Tutela dei Diritti Umani.
In 2022, she took successfully her bar exam; in 2023, she attended he ECLAN Summer School on “The EU Area of Criminal Justice” in Brussels (Institute for European Studies - ULB).
